Practice
- Teams will be able to practice at the Fall Creek Pavilion on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 3-6 PM ET.
- Team packets may be picked up during practice times.
- There will be no PV or HJ practice.
- There will be no time to practice handoffs on the track on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
- The meet will be run by IHSAA rules
Team Entrance
- Team buses should enter Fall Creek Pavilion off of the 38th street entrance.
- There will be NO parking passes. Yellow buses and white buses will be allowed to enter via the athlete entrance for free. All other athlete transportation will need to enter the spectator entrance (for a fee) and walk to the athlete entrance.
- Once your team has arrived, please send a coach to check-in and receive your team packet. Packets will be given to coaches only! Please pass out all team wristbands on the bus or outside of the Fall Creek Pavilion athlete entrance. Wristbands MUST be on the wrist for entry into FCP.
- Remember, there will be no team payment at the door!
Spectator Information
- Tickets will be $15 and must be purchased online HERE
- Spectators may enter the North side of theIndianapolis Fairgrounds.
- Parking at the Indianapolis Fairgrounds will be $10.
- NO spectators will be allowed to enter the athlete entrance area. This includes those who may be dropping off athletes.
Coaches
- Coach/Athlete Entrance
- Each athlete registered on DA for the meet will be given 1 wristband.
- There will be 3 coaches & 2 manager wristbands provided.
- Extra Coaches wristbands may be purchased for COACHES ONLY on Direct Athletics when coaches register their athletes (max of 3).
- NO extra coaches bands will be given at the meet.

Large School Meet Start Times (4a,5a,6a)
- Doors will open at 6:30 AM ET.
- Large school (4A, 5A, 6A) Girls PV will begin at 8:30 AM ET. PV athletes will have their poles checked by officials as soon as they enter the Fall Creek Pavilion.
- Large school (4A, 5A, 6A) running events and all other field events will begin at 9:00 AM ET.

Small School Meet Start Times (1a,2a,3a)
- Doors will open for Small school (1A, 2A, 3A) teams at 1:30 PM ET. Please respect the earlier meet that will be ongoing when you arrive.
- Small school (1A, 2A, 3A) Girls PV will begin at 3:00 PM ET. PV athletes will have their poles checked by officials as soon as they enter the Fall Creek Pavilion.
- Small school (1A, 2A, 3A) running events and all other field events will begin at 3:30 PM ET.

HSR Finals Meet Format
- HSR Finals will be run by IHSAA rules.
- All athletes must compete in school uniforms.
- Team camps will be on the west side of the Fall Creek Pavilion. The large school division may make team camps on the upper level. Do not make camp around the warm up area.
- Lap races and straightaway races will be run separately, No races will be run simultaneously.
- ¼’’pyramid spikes only
- Starting Blocks will be provided by the Fall Creek Pavilion, NO outside blocks will be permitted.
- Absolutely NO CHALK for any marking anything on any track surface.
- Check-in for all running events will take place at the clerking area outside of turn 4. Athletes need to be checked-in by 2nd call.
- Check-in for field events will take place at the respective field event location. Athletes need to be checked-in by 2nd call.
- Athletic trainers will be available. However, ankle wrapping will cost $5 per ankle – Cash Only.

- Girls PV followed by boys

- HJ will begin after the sprint finals. Both genders will compete simultaneously
- LJ will take place simultaneously
Running Events Order
- 60 M Hurdles and 60 M Dash
- Trials – 3 heats of 8 per gender, per division
- Top 8 fastest times to finals, no qualifying by place
- 3200 M Run
- 1 race per gender, per division
- Double waterfall start, break on back straight
- 4×800 M Relay & DMR
- 2 races per gender, per division
- Double waterfall start, break on the back straight
- 4×200 M Relay
- 4 races of 6 teams per gender, per division
- 3 turn stagger start line
- Runner #1 in lanes the entire lap
- #1 exchange is 30 meters in lanes
- Runner #2 in lanes through 1st turn, then break on back straight
- #2, #3 exchange is a 20 meter California exchange
- 4×400 Relay
- 4 races of 6 teams per gender, per division
- 2 turn stagger start line
- Runner #1 first lap in lane through 2nd turn, then break on home straight
- All exchanges are 20 meter California exchange

HSR Field Events
- No coaches will be allowed inside of the running oval. All coaching boxes will be posted outside of the oval. Coaches MUST have a marked “coaches” wristband to be in the coaching box area.
- High Jump Athletes & Coaches: Please do not enter the oval area until the high jump officials gives permission to begin setting marks and warming up. Coaches should leave the oval area before official warm ups begin.
- Vertical progressions will be posted on the IATCCC website and via HSR social media as soon as possible the week of the HSR Finals.
- Shots will be provided, NO individual shots will be permitted.
- Absolutely NO CHALK for any marking anything on any track surface.
Field event checkout process if also in running events
- Athletes should checkout no earlier than 2nd call and will have 5 minutes to check back in after their race is over. Once back, the officials will work with the athletes to get them back into the order as soon as possible.
- Athletes that check out to relay events should be aware of the race/heat their team is in. If the relay team is in the last heat, the athlete needs to check out accordingly as to not hold up the field event. The field athlete’s teammates can check the team in with the clerk and the field athlete can join closer to race time.
Awards
- The HSR will be team scored in each class. The scoring will be as follows:
- Individuals: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
- Relays: 20-16-12-10-8-6-4-2
- Top 8 place winners will receive medals. There will be a presentation of medals at the awards stand on the inside of the track. Please have your athletes stay at the finish to participate in the presentation.
- The top 2 teams in both classes boys and girls will receive a Hoosier State Relays plaque that will be presented at the end of each meet.
