Meet Information

  • See the new Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion
  • Hotels – Indianapolis is hosting the first round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament March 22 and 24.
  • Update February 20
    Teams will be able to practice at the Fall Creek Pavilion on Friday, March 22 from 3-7 PM ET. There will be no PV or HJ practice. Team packets may be picked up at this time. There will be no time to practice handoffs on the track on Saturday, March 23.
  • 1A, 2A, 3A  Nike HSR field events and running events start at 9:00 am
    Doors open at 7:00 am. Girls pole vault begins at 8:30 am
  • 4A, 5A, 6A Nike HSR field events and running events start at 3:30 pm
    Please respect the earlier meet that will be competing when you arrive
    Girls pole vault begins at 3:00 pm
  • The meet will be run by IHSAA rules
    All athletes must compete in school uniforms.
    Here is the contract with instructions on how to return it.
  • Lap races and straightaway races will be run separately.  No races will be run simultaneously.

Team Entrance

  • Team buses should enter Fall Creek Pavilion off of 38th street entrance. Gate 3.
  • Each team will receive a 1 time use QR code for parking.  Please print this QR and place it in the windshield of your bus. (If you have athletes enter at a later time they will need to pay for parking)
  • Once your team has arrived please send a coach to check-in and receive the team packet.  Packets will only be given to coaches! Please pass out all team wristbands on the bus or outside of the Fall Creek Pavilion south entrance.
  • Each athlete will receive a wristband for entrance. (6 wristbands will be allowed per relay)
  • Remember, there will be no team payment at the door.

Spectator Information

  • Tickets will be $10 and must be purchased online at HERE
  • Spectators may enter the Indianapolis Fairgrounds off of Fall Creek Parkway through Gate 6 or Gate 16 (1051 E 42nd St)
  • Spectators will only enter on the North side of the Fall Creek Pavilion, not through the athlete entrance.
  • Parking at the Indiana State Fair Grounds will be $10

FIELD EVENTS

  • There will be no coaches allowed inside of the running oval.  All coaching boxes will be posted on the outside of the oval.
  • The high jump competition will not begin until the sprint finals are completed.
  • In the long jump & shot put – All jumps & throws measured
  • Opening Heights & Progressions for 2024
    • Small Schools
    • Girls PV- Opening Height is 8’6″, go 6″ until 10′ and then 3″  (8’6″, 9′, 9’6″, 10′, 10’3″ and 3″ after)
    • Boys PV- Opening Height is 12′, go 6″ until 13′ and then 3″ after
    • Girls HJ- Opening Height is 5′ go 2″ until 5’2″ and then 1″
    • Boys HJ- Opening Height is 6′, go 2″ until 6’2″ and then 1″
    • Large Schools
    • Girls PV- Opening Height is 10′, go 6″ until 11’6″‘ and then 3″  
    • Boys PV- Opening Height is 13′, go 6″ until 14′ and then 3″ after
    • Girls HJ- Opening Height is 5′ go 2″ until 5’2″ and then 1″
    • Boys HJ- Opening Height is 6′, go 2″ until 6’4″ and then 1″
  • 1/4″ pyramid spikes only
  • Starting blocks will be provided by Fall Creek Pavilion, no outside blocks will be permitted.
  • Absolutely NO CHALK for marking anything on the track.
  • Shots will be provided and no individual shots will be permitted.
  • Top 8 place winners will receive medals. There will be a presentation of medals at the awards stand outside the track near the start/finish line.  Please have your athletes participate in the presentation. Coaches and parents are encouraged to take pictures from the bleachers at the presentation.
  • The Nike Hoosier State Relays will be team scored in each division. The scoring is:
    Individuals 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
    Relays 20-16-12-10-8-6-4-2
  • Top 2 teams in both classes boys and girls will receive a Hoosier State Relays plaque that will be presented at the end of each meet. Watch the scoreboards for updated team totals.
