Joseph Perkins, Jr , an Indianapolis native and Lawrence Central graduate, will sing the National Anthem to begin the Nike Hoosier State Relays. Joseph has performed with the Indianapolis Symphony in 12 Yuletide Celebrations. Joseph also has starred in Ashley Brown’s Broadway, World Premiere’s of Hello Dolly, On Broadway with Kander & Ebb, Anything Goes & Hairspray and performed with the Ft Worth & Dallas Symphonies. Joseph can be seen on stage at The Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre and with The Indianapolis Men’s Chorus.
